Nah, it's about 4 hrs away from Dallas and
I have seen them 8 times already, so they may have a point. They basically threatened to kick my out of the house since i've been doing this and not getting a job.

Who the heck would pay over a thousand bucks for one U2 ticket? Why can't the scalpers be nice and put stuff at a reasonable price? lol. Oh well, I could likely get a cheap ticket.. but I couldn't likely afford the cost of travel, food or shelter

I'm checking on craigslist as well.
But haven't been succesfull getting a ticket from there.

It's good for an occassional laugh though.
It's amazing what some people wanna fetch for their tickets.
Insane prices I tell you.
And then there are other people that are just really dumb or stupid.
I'm sorry, I don't like calling people that, but no other words come to mind.
Like one person is offering tickets at or below face value and some-one else is offering worse tickets for 3 times that amount.
