That's what I've been able to determine. I've been obsessed with this whole code thing since last week when I started seeing the codes disappearing for people who had already used them.

I used my code for one ticket during the presale. my code still shows up on the page, and I got an email from U2. com saying that my code was unused

But you are a prop member so even if you used your code during the first presale you are eligible for a second pair of tickets on this presale. That is why you received the prop email and your code still shows up on the page.

Did you ever get any communication from them? I went ahead and paid the $40 to join U2.com cuz I figured the $20 discount wasn't worth the hassle of trying to get them to send me acknowledgement of being a former Prop member. I guess I was wrong. So what do we do to contact them when they wont return emails? I'm not asking for anything special, I just want what all the other former Prop members are getting - a chance to buy tickets in the presale.

I'm confused. I got *one* letter saying the general info, and this:

PAIR OF TICKETS for any one show for the Fall leg.

But, I was a former Prop member, got the discounted membership, and bought tickets to the first leg.

I checked on U2.com, and my old membership number--the one I used to score tickets--is there. Actually, it's been there since I was first issued it.

I've already received my tickets, but if I used that code again, would it nullify them, or can people use their codes again? I ask b/c, I know they don't tear the tickets anymore; they usually use a computerized scanner, and I have no idea what they can or cannot do to someone's ticket numbers.

I may sound paranoid, but I'm just dumbfounded at the moment. And why didn't I get a second e-mail? Weird.

Any input would be cool. Thanks.

I believe the email said 2 pairs for 2 shows. What did your email say, (the prop one not the u2.com subscriber one)?

All NA presales allow a MAX of 2 tickets per code per show.

You will need 2 codes to get 4 tickets to one show in a NA presale.

I did receive 2 emails but not the one you mention. One says: As a former Propaganda subscriber with an unused code, you will be able to use your code to buy 2 PAIRS OF TICKETS FOR TWO SHOWS OF YOUR CHOICE (4 tickets in total) in the pre-sale for the Fall leg.

and the other says: As a U2.Com Subscriber with an unused code from the presale last time, this is to let you know that your unique code will enable you to buy A PAIR OF TICKETS for any one show for the Fall leg.

Just sort of weird since I did use my code last time. But I suppose I won't worry about it until I actually try using it next week.

Same here, I got these two emails too. and used my code last time.

I am wondering that if you were a former Prop who got double charged if you received both of these emails!

Don't worry edgeboy those dates will be posted within seconds of them being posted on u2.com, (or hopefully as was the case for the 1st announcement even before they're officially posted on u2.com).

We will know later on today either way. They already posted this on u2.com:

News on a Fall leg of U2's 'Vertigo//2005 Tour' is due to be publicly announced tomorrow, Monday.

We should have full details on U2.Com later tonight.

Okay- I am a former prop member. Originally I did not want to go through the hassle to save $20, so I just paid the $40. As soon as the ticketing mes started happenning I emailed U2.com MANY times regarding my Prop status with no response. I also emailed someone named Jeffrey who supposedly was with fanfare. There are quite a number of people over at Zootopia who seem to be in this same predicament who have called the main fanfire # Friday and yesterday and have now been found on the Propaganda membership list and have miraculously had their $20 credited and have received an email saying they are now recognized as Propaganda subscribers with their codes reactivated.

You should be able to find the threads eithers in the subscriber General Discussion or the Live forums.

After you called did you get an email? If so, how long was the turn around? I got so excited that she said my status would be upgraded- I didn't ask her how long it might take! Don't know if I should call back tonight or what..

I also just called an apparently my status will be changed. The cool thing is that I'm not even sure that I was on a list of former Propaganda, I just told her I never got the letter because I moved (which is true). I think they were told to be very accomodating with everyone.

The woman told me I should get an e-mail tonight or tomorrow, and she also said they were going to send all e-mails in one bunch.

I'm pretty sure you can't, and if you use your code twice some or all of your tickets will be taken away. Happened to a few people around here.

Unfortunately, they probably won't add the 2nd Miami show for the presale.

Since I'm assuming you got the Prop email allowing you to buy 2 pairs for 2 shows, you might want to use your 2 pair to buy another show and then try to trade them for the 2nd Miami. Just a thought, you should probably start planning alternative strategies to get to that probable 2nd Miami show.

No, you weren't the only one. There are several threads here discussing this issue. They have kind of dropped to the back burner so you will probably have to look several pages back to find them but you should definitely look there because people had posted names of helpful contacts, phone numbers, and email addresses that worked for them. Unfortunately, it may already be too late to do something about it, though.
