Event Travel - Had Any Problems??

Please post your issues re Event Travel this tour. I am considering a petition. I went to the Dublin concert with them -

I got the package the day before the concert
I had to pick up the concert tickets at the hotel
The hotel was different and significantly lower star than the one announced
No apologies until I complained
They were not available to talk to the whole time, even by email
They had an answer machine message to allay fans stress that just said the tickets etc have been sent out. Nothing more.
They just sent me a 35 pound refund. I will be sending it back.

I got the ticket as promised in Milano, although the info arrived really late.

Ok I suppose, but the next time I'll get my tix from the touts.

I used Event Travel for Brussels & Glasgow on the U2 tour & Madonna last year in Paris. The Glasgow tickets were late arriving but did get to me 3-4 days before I flew up. They actually phoned me before they sent them to check the address to use and see if I wanted to collect at the hotel. Other than that had no problems with either the hotel or ticket or anything on any of the trips, sorry to hear you had a bad experience.

Tickets and Hotel information received 5 days before the event instead of the 7-10 days promised on the website and even earlier than that by the staff.
