not really, because he says DONT become a monster in order to defeat a monster, quite different to what he is saying in the song

The person in Peace on Earth 'became a monster' so 'the monster did not defeat him/her'. And in his speech he warns people not to do the same.

I can't see what's "quite different" about that.
