Honestly, I loved all of the additions/changes. But I agree with the person who said this was great for the people attending both shows.

If I was only going to 1 and missed out on Discoteque I might be a little disappointed. Luckily I won't be having that problem.

Amazing setlists.

Last thing I wanna say is, U2 are such teasers. I was getting all worked up for a surprise in the second encore (between ABOY and 40), since Yahweh was played early again and Bad openend the first encore. Oh, the anticipation!! Great feeling!!
Too bad it didn't happen tonight.
But that only means we have something left.
Can't hardly wait to find out what!!

Wow. One thing is for sure, if you were at this show you got hit with a lot of surprises.

I bet no one there saw that encore coming.

Just got in from the show.

You ain't kidding! When they started the first notes of Bad to begin the encore, my brain popped right out of my head. I can't believe they played both OOTS and Fast Cars. Despite the lack of Achtung, it was a completely wonderful encore.

Despite the fact that most folks there had never heard the song before, the crowd really seemed to enjoy Fast Cars. It was a really fun and upbeat performance.


Ack! Now I have to wait another freakin' month before the Detroit shows.

Oh well, the 2 Chicago shows were a blast! Thank you U2!!!


By the way, when Larry put on Bono's hat at the very end, he got BY FAR the biggest ovation of the night. Part of it may have been because folks realized the show was over, but it sure seemed to me like a lot of it was aimed straight at Larry!

Hmm no wonder Larry got the biggest ovation....it must be the greatest thing to see Larry actually do something other than bang his drums well....i am surprised people did not die of shock at such a sight
