Heh, I can't make any kind of overall list. It's too hard to rank songs just against others on their album, let alone all of U2's songs together. There's too much good stuff.

Oh, no, I love Stay. As I said, it's my #4 on Zooropa. The title track is a masterpiece though, and Lemon's like visual art made into music, and Numb is quite unique for U2, so Stay's relegated to fourth place below those three.

Stay is too good of a song to be on Zooropa, is it a hold over from AB?

I'm not liking this Zooropa bashing.... I love that album. Zooropa, as ax said, is a total masterpiece, while (again paraphrasing ax) lemon is absolutely art made sound. The Wanderer kicks ass, dirty day and daddy's going to pay are dirty and grimy and full of emotion and tension that makes them so amazingly hard, and numb is totally unlike anything else.
