jick said:They give us a setlist full of songs that don't even belong among their "Best Of" of either era. We get Electric Co, An Cat Dubh, Into The Heart, Bullet The Blue Sky, Running To Stand Still, Zoo Station, The Fly, and 40 - that adds up to 8 songs or more than 1/3rd of their songs of their setlist are devoted to non-Best Of songs.
namkcuR said:Jick, I will say it again - YOU ARE FULL OF SHIT. Everybody sees through your BS. Stop wasting your time with this crap. It's pathetic. Congrats though, you're getting your attention, and that's your whole point anyway. I seriously can't believe you got 60+ replies with this crap, nor can I believe I'm actually adding to it. I think the Mods will be getting a complaint from me if you don't stop this soon.
BassTrap82 said:I think Jick is right in a way. 8 songs, who are unknown for the bigg masses, out of 21/22/23 played songs each night is a bit much. But on the other hand, Running To Stand Still is played many times before, it's not like it's never been played... Also, "40" is a regular concert closer since the "WAR" tour, and Bullet The Blue Sky is played all the time after the release of The Joshua Tree on concerts.

Then why did you reply? If his goal was to get people's blood pressure roaring and to stir shit, then bitchy posts like this one only encourage him to keep doing it. If you despise him so much then why give him the satisfaction of getting all pissed off?
I agree that most of Jicks posts are only a couple bricks shy of a load, but the posts are civil and often bring up discussion. Sometimes the best discussions come from someone who plays devils advocate.

I agree with this. To me a "Best of" set would smack of "nostalgia act" and I don't think U2 really wants that. I know that's not what I would want.
Just what I was thinking!PhoenixGNX said:
And speaking of 'Running To Stand Still', if you dont own the Joshua Tree, what the hell are you doing at a U2 concert to begin with?? lol. Thats am album thats in most any persons music collection, U2 fan or not lol.
