hello guys! Wow our little thread has grown! :D
What an amazing weekend ahead!!!!!! **dances** I'm sooooooooooooooooooooooo freakin' excited!!!!!
Also a lovely surprise when I got up from my nap. My mom pulled this week's Ticket from the Trib and lovely lovely pic of the boys on the front along with a U2 history quiz inside (yes this will be graded...jk ;)) and in the Weekend Mag just an article. Can't wait to see the City Paper...their usually pretty good of covering concerts and fun stuff...

:hyper: :dancing: :faint: :giggle:

um I do have one question though...:D

how are GA people with non-GA people? I mean, since the Hard Rock thing is a bust I thought...well, can you hang out down there with everyone else? I mean hang out, see people and see if you can meet the boys, too??

*blush* just curious :D

Miro,
Since you took my girlfriend away from me...and my car...and my parents are visiting...etc...you can get me Cleveland tickets for face value. Ok? ok. ;)

Suuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuure... :D

Thanks for letting us steal her :sexywink:

Here it is, tomorrow's the big day ... is anyone camping or not? I wasn't going to but if others are, it might be kind of fun...

I have a behind the stage seat in Cleveland but I would really like to sell it and get a GA, I have a feeling tomorrow night is going to be really special. I was born and raised in Cleveland so when the time for that gets closer maybe I can answer some questions for out-of-towners.

Anyway please let me know if you're camping or not. Sounds like we might need a weapon, they say its not a great area.

We're camping :D

And everyone always says "it's not a great neighborhood". I've heard that say about Chicago and I know plenty of people that have camped there... Same thing was said about Dublin and I camped there...

'sides. I'm from Mexico and live near Detroit, I think I can handle it :sexywink:

Who cares if it isnt a good neighborhood there will be alot of people out there tonight camping out. U2 fans are tough lol.

fffffffffffffffuuuuuuuuuuuuuuccccccccccccccccccckkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk

You've probably all left for Pittsburgh by now, but if any other Pittsburgh concert-goers are still reading, I need some advice, PLEASE.

My husband and I weren't going to be able to go this weekend because of work commitments, so we didn't buy tickets. He has just found out that he doesn't have to work after all, and now I am scrambling to come up with tickets. In my desperation, I have even bid too much money on eBay, but WITH NO LUCK.

So, can anyone advise me about what to do? If we just head for Pittsburgh tonight or tomorrow early, what are our chances of 1) a ticket drop or 2) finding friendly folks with extra tickets to sell or 3) getting ripped off by scalpers?

Any advice is welcome. We would love to see you all there. Thanks in advance for your help!

Do it. You'll find tickets. Just be there EARLY.

Also, keep an eye on the what do you have/what do you want sections!

Good luck! :D

I dont know where you are from but, I am from Philly and I am leaving for Pittsburgh tonight at 10 PM... You will probobly definitely be able to find someone with extra tickets... 2 If you have to pay a scalper outside who cares atleast you will get in i mean ive never gotten ripped off with fake tickets from a scalper but you should be able to find legit tickets there so good luck.

Hey
So anybody having a gathering tonite? Just curious we could meet at primanti bros (close) before or pipers pub on S Side the night before....at any rate stop by the ONE Table and sign the Declaration to make Poverty History!! (even if you already signed it) Anyways , less than 24 hrs! How will one sleep!?

Thank you to everybody who replied! My husband and I now have tickets, and I finally found us a hotel room (not downtown, alas), and now we're scrambling to get ready to go!

We're driving from Ohio and hope to arrive early-afternoonish. I really hope to meet people there! Is there an after-show get together planned? Let us know!

thanks again, guys...U2 fans are the BEST!!!
