do you have a link to this information? thank you. :)

I just snagged a GA for the Friday show, but now I'm afraid I'll be one of the few true U2 fans on the floor, due to these absurd prices...

... I'd hate to spend $400 for what I think will be a great ticket, only to be surrounded by whales and their dates who have no clue what they're looking at.

Why are all the cool fans sitting behind the stage?

Casino concerts suck.

Am I gonna be the one guy down on the floor wearing my War Tour t-shirt jumping up and down if they play "Crumbs", while everyone around me is sipping cocktails and chatting on their cellphones?

... say it ain't so

wow, that sure is a lot to throw out there.

so you spent 400 dollars on a GA ticket and you suppose you're only one of the "few" "true U2 fans" to do so, eh?

interesting. because i know quite a few great people from here who are holding GA's.

if casino concerts suck so bad, why are you going, and why did you spend so much to get there?

oh, and the "cool fans" will be chillin' in our seats because some of us understand that it doesn't make you a "true U2 fan" to be jumping up and down on the floor during crumbs in a war shirt.

I'm actually kind of hoping that a lot of GA ticket holders are casual fans. They won't be lining up early so I have a better chance of a good spot. Hard to say with Vegas crowds.

I bought tix for both nights at way above face. I'm sure they'll be more like us on the floor but like I said..hopefully not too many

The MGM has horrible cell phone reception so maybe that'll keep the phone chatters at bay. Let them sip their drinks and just enjoy the show

I can tell you one thing that I know a lot of folks who are die hard U2 fans who have GA's for both Vegas shows who are not coctail sippers or cell phone chatters.....they will be on that floor grooving the whole vibe and there to enjoy the show. I don't know what you mean by "casino show" because I certainly do not consider this U2 show to be a "casino show", only rock's best tour ever and world's greatest band performing two shows IN A CASINO ARENA. They opened their tour at the San Diego Sports Arena which is the same size as the MGM Grand Garden arena. You will NOT be the only guy in a War shirt, or the only guy jumping around. I'd say dwell more on the positive and it will help make it a much better experience for all. ;)

Wonder why some have to worry too much about those around them when they are supposed to be there to enjoy the show on the stage!!!
There are plenty of real fans who bought seats cause maybe we've done the GA thing and realized standing in line for 5-8 hours doesn't make one more of a fan...
I bought my tix for Vegas at just a little over face months ago.....happy to be wherever just to be in the arena with the band!!
So....stop worrying about everyone else and what they are wearing...have fun.

That's not cool; and it didn't need repeating......:eyebrow:

i was at that show where the grannies were.. They weren't on the floor i.e GA. They were just a couple rows off the floor, lower level. On the right side of the ellipse- adam's side.
