Also that is scary about the responses of people in regards to leaving to eat.

Do you have a question on there that specifically asks what time the person got in line?

That would be totally fine with me! I'll probably come and hang out with you GAers in line anyway since I'll pretty much be too hyper to do anything else

Okay... hippy's car is officially the coat rack of Atlanta!

Hello all! I'll be joining everyone in the GA line on 11/18....I cannot freakin' wait!! I just wanted to say hey to everyone, looking forward to seeing you in Atlanta. Has anyone heard what the GA lineup policy w/Philips Arena is?

Lauren, yes, we do have a question about what time people got in line, and it seems the people who tend to spend longest in line are a little more generous in their opinions about how long it is ok to leave the line--but not that much. really, how insane.

i'll have my car and everyone is free to leave stuff in it as well.
Looking forward to seeing everyone, and i'm practically counting the hours!

Really, that is completely backwards of what I would think! But I guess if it's not much difference....though I guess they are at the front anyway so maybe it makes sense.

And that you for the car offer and you too hippy!

Whooo 6 days...

I would rather be camped out in the GA line bored out of my mind than in ATL traffic anyday!

As for people joining you in line - I had my cousin come and get in line with me in Detroit. I just asked the people around me if it was cool at the very beginning of the day and not one person took issue. Atlanta will probably be the same.

Yeah - and that Aqauarium does look nice. If you are still looking for things to do, a friend mentioned that she is taking her kids to a puppet museum there. Center for Puppetry Arts Puppets are like clowns to some people though - creepy. Although right now it looks like Pooh is the featured theme - and who is creeped out by Pooh Bear?

Yeah, that place is very close; definitely within walking distance.

Can't comment on it though b/c I've never been.

I have to work 1/2 a day on Friday...teacher playing hookie!

I will roll in from Bama in time to get a lousy spot, maybe I will scan in!

Sat am I am getting out in line early...I want a good GA spot if I am not in the ellipse...not in the back. It is worth waiting out all night for that.

I got the same reply as Yellowkite when I emailed Phillips back in March...Hangtime porch...where is that?

Also:
Meet & Greet. I missed the one In Dallas...had to shower, but I think everyone holding my spot told me it was around 5ish. Is that usually the general time? I had heard (I thought) that it happened around 2-3ish from another post.

I had thought about getting out and hitting some bars in Atlanta- 5 points after Friday's show...any thoughts about band drinking spots. There are some cool pubs around, I am wishful thinking, aren't I?????

Little 5. I don't frequent that part of town enough to know which bars to go to. I know the bars Highlands and Midtown and that is about it.

Hippy, I am working until 3PM on Saturday. So I will give you a call when I am off of work to see what you are up to. I live 15 mins from downtown so it will not take long for me to get there.

Lauren, I am sure you will be parked at the GA line and I will also give you call after I get off of work.

After Elevation 2001 Leg 1 I heard a rumor that the preferred drinking spot in Atlanta was a strip club - anyone recall where?
