Friends,

I can never seem to get enough of the pictures that all of you take. It's the one thing that I look forward to in here.

Just some quick and simple advice for those that may be getting frustrated by the shaky results....

take a minute and set your digi cam's ISO speed to 400 before the show begins. Some of my friends have it set at 200 by default. This is ok if you can stand still in the dark but it's mostly for well lit areas. ISO basically means the sensitivity to light. The higher the number (some go up to 800 and higher) the more sensitive the image sensor becomes. This, in turn, means less time to expose the sensor to your subject (via a shutter). In other words, your setting your camera up to "open and close" quicker.

Try it out before going to the show. But also note that at 400 or 800, images may become slightly "grainier" (sandy looking). Some higher end camera manage this a lot better though. As long as your not going to enlarge the image, it should be fine.

Hope this helps and keep taking those Vertigo pics!!!
