wow, I somehow missed this story until tonight. I don't even know what to say, except it makes me so proud to be part of this amazing community called u2 fans. It also reminds me that Bono is an exceptional and unpredictable person, he never ceases to surprise us, does he?
It's interesting to think about this John Lennon/Bono link, I've thought there was a connection there ever since hearing u2 take back Helter Skelter on Rattle and Hum. And they have been playing snippets of Beatles songs throughout the tour. It's intriguing!
