The Ellipse? Again???!!! How DO some people get so lucky? Although I can't complain - I got myself an autograph from B himself and - ANNNND - I ran into Headache at the Garden & got to say hello to him in person! It was quick though, so I've wondered all week if he figured out who the Hell I was!!

how to get in ellipse?

Sorry, I'm new to this. Can anyone tell me how the "ellipse people" are selected; is it random/luck? And how early do you haveto be there to get a good standing position?

Some pre-selected GA tickets bring up a special code or a 'beep' when scanned at the gates (the method for pre-selection is a matter of great debate, but that's another thread!)... if your ticket brings up this code, you get a wristband that allows you entry into the "Bomb Shelter" or the inside portion of the elliptical stage. Being in line early doesn't improve your chances of getting beeped, but it does give you better choice of where you position yourself once inside. Some venues don't allow fans to line up any earlier than 8am or 9am on the day of the show, while apparently others are OK with you camping out for 2 days prior if you want.
