How early did GA's line up at your venue?

There's a debate brewing among the 6 of us who are going to the Dallas show.
Some think its not necessary to get in line 8+ hours before showtime..some of us do.

So tell me, how early did you see folks with GA passes lining up? And if you didn't get into the ellipse, how far back did you end up ?

My cousin waited from 1030 the night before Philly I. We were 2 3 4 in the non-fanclub line and we were at the tip of the ellipse on the outside, a GREAT spot to be. We also were in Pitt on sat. and we got there at 3 in the morning and got the same spot so it does depend.

In DC I was in the ellipse standing next to number 7 who had been in line for hours, and I just arrived at 7 PM. It's really, really all luck.

MOOBIES?

well, the reason I'm worried is because my group are being a bunch of buttheads and they don't want to wait in line to try and secure the rail I have a feeling I'm gonna end up waaaaaaaaaay in the back of the floor unless someone has pity on me and gives me an ellipse band

heh

I met someone on Interference who was going to Pittsburgh. She needed a friend to keep her company in line, I needed a ticket. It worked out great. The deal was if she scanned, I went in with her, and if I scanned, I took her in.

She scanned!

And the rest, as they say, is history.

A great start to an amazing weekend which culminated in Bono asking me onstage.

Moral of the story....I dunno...lol...ok Im weird..
