Enjoy the pics, download them if you'd like.

excellent, both that you got great seats and you got to share the concert with your wife.

Thanks you for sharing the photos with us. The first one is stunning to say the least. Well done.
Classic U2 moment...I'll treasure it.

Okay, I have been trying to be patient, but I am not very good at the whole patience thing...

Does anyone have pictures from 4/21 before sound check when Bono came out to greet us?

Here's mine... I unfortunately have no pictures with Bono yet, so any help would be greatly appreciated. I can be seen on the first picture with black hair and sunglasses on top of my head... My friend is not visible, but she was wearing a white shirt with pink stripes... I was wearing a black shirt with a shoulder cut off...

I have these pictures without as much cropping of the fans that I will be sending to eep soon and can send to anyone else that was there if you want them...

By the way, huge thanks go to Chuckver and his brother in law for the pictures, and my apologies for not registering it was you when you mentioned you were from Michigan... I was severely lacking in brain power Hope your pictures came out!!

Personally, I think it's the Pepsi Center sound. They always blame it on the band, but no one I know who's been to *any* show there has been able to hear.

I had seats on the second level for Elevation--couldn't hear very well. On the floor, Bono was often drowned out.

The Pepsi Center LOVES to blame the bands, but the place has lousy acoustics.

I believe it is the fact that they are purposely playing louder and with a more aggressive eq setting for the rooms. I listened to 2 songs both nights without hearing protection and the sounded like garbage. Not because of the room, but because of the sheer volume. Your ear drum will distort the sound. That being said, the shows sounded amazing with good high quality hearing protection. I am an audio professional, and have only heard one other arena show sound as good as U2 generally does, and that was Sarah McLachlan.

Volume is one thing, being a good mix is quite another. Whatever the reason, or whoever is responsible, I think it is a choice that was made and what they are trying to do.

My advice? Spend $20 and get yourself some filtered ear plugs.

WOW, Miraslava! Nice pictures!

I guess Bono didn't want to get cold on 4/20.

I flew in from Boston to see the 4/20 show and had a wonderful time. I had a prime bar seat at Brooklyns before the show and met many great U2 fans, including the U2 "Blinking light guy". The show rocked, the fans were pumped, it was cool to see the band in a city other than Boston. Thank you Denver, for showing me a good time!

LOL! Aww!

When I got dressed that morning, I thought "No one from Interference is ever going to spot me like this!" All my hair was hidden because I had on a dark blue hoodie, with my Czech hockey hat over that. And I was so windburned that I looked quite awful--and homeless!!

I was bummed not to meet anyone from the Blue Crack, I imagined all U2 fans in line were on here!!

I'd agree somewhat with the sound problems at the Pepsi Center (I had a hard time understanding some of the words), but I overall had a really great time. The people in my section (Right behind the stage) were totally excited - screaming, jumping up and down, etc. so it seemed to help make it fun! Great pictures!

My account of the show is in my journal of my whole 5-day trip, which also included other activities. You can just read the U2 part, or the whole thing if you're interested.

Jen Foster, a musician out of "Nash-vegas-baby!" is one of the biggest U2 fans that I know of. Says so on her cd! See her website which is her name.

My sister and I flew up from Houston to the Denver 4/20 and 4/21 shows. We met up with one of my roommates from college that lives up there. Anyway, we did a full 3 days of sightseeing on top of our shows. The 21st we went to Pikes Peak and almost didn't make it to the concert in time b/c of a huge traffic jam on I-25 in Colorado Springs. This was their first U2 shows ever - these were my 3rd and 4th shows after one each on PopMart and Elevation.

We took a bunch of pics of Bono & co. which I'll try to link on a website then link on here.

MysteryGirl - I loved your rundown of the week it was great! We had the exact same thoughts about Kings Of Leon - in fact had every intention of skipping them the second night traffic jam or not. LOL - yeah the hail was pretty bizarre too.
