U2 needs to play Pairc Ui Chaoimh in 2006!

Look at this venue... so huge, and it would be the PERFECT place to film a "home crowd" DVD...

Yeah, I don't get how it's 'huge'.
"Mediocrity is never so dangerous as when it is dressed up as sincerity." - Søren Kierkegaard

Ian McCulloch the U2 fan:
"Who buys U2 records anyway? It's just music for plumbers and bricklayers. Bono, what a slob. You'd think with all that climbing about he does, he'd look real fit and that. But he's real fat, y'know. Reminds me of a soddin' mountain goat."
"And as for Bono, he needs a colostomy bag for his mouth."

I agree, it is not huge Axver and yes Kuef it is a prettypoor quality Gaelic Football pitch, but it has provided two amazing concerts during ZOO TV and JT, you must know how it feels, Axver, when your favourite band doesn't come to your town.

The stands seem small but I think he means the pitch is long (i.e. large standing capacity). And as much as I would love it, I think it unlikely that U2 will come back to Europe next summer

It holds about 40,000 and like most stadiums here is rather decriped, apart from croke park.I saw oasis there in 96,an although i'd like to see U2 play cork next year i can't see it at that venue.I reckon the only chance we have of a show in ireland in 06 is slane when hopefully U2 will finish their tour in august
