Sydney GA tix. Ellipse questions?

Well I got lucky and got my GA tickets for Sydney. No queuing here in Melbourne for Ticketek, nd I had tix in my hands before 9am!
One question though, will the procedure be the same for entry to the ellipse as it was for the rest of the tour? Someone told me today there is no ellipse, all GA tickets are the same and you just have to queue early and then run like hell when you get through the gates to get up close to the front.

Anyone know anymore than that?

There is no ellipse, just like there was none in Europe. The stadium stage plan replaces the ellipse with two arms that lead to b-stages in the crowd. Just look at the seating plan for Sydney and the stage is illustrated there.

However, a barrier will divide the field into two, for crowd control reasons. Getting into the inner area closer to the stage will be on a first come, first served basis.
