Bono has been confirmed as a speaker for the Center for Associated Leadership's Distinguished Speaker Series. His speech will take place in February 2006, in Washington.

U2tours posted a rumor 4 days ago (Sept. 29) that says:

According to an article in El Universal newspaper, U2 will perform next year in Mexico City.

I think there will be an official announcement early next year. AFAIK neither Australia or S. America were officially "ruled out" - on the other hand I doubt the US stadiums/Europe 2006 rumours.
