According to the Herald a British source close to the band say's it will be december...

I really hope it's December. I have uni exams in November, so November dates could cause me some problems. I don't think "oh, I've a U2 gig to see in another city" is going to be accepted as a legitimate excuse for missing an exam.

December for the rescheduled dates sounds cool!! I wouldn't be surprised if the band announces an extra tour leg in the months of September-October- November.

Im with you, i have exams in Novenmber too. and when push comes to shove, im not entrly sure i would pick my exams over U2.....
i am already planning reasons why i need to take the exams early, or in another city...
