I seem to remember reading somewhere that Bono mentioned the last song he would sing at the last U2 concert would be Amazing Grace. I believe it was in Bill Flanagan's book At The End of The World. For those of you who have not read this yet I would suggest doing so, it is very entertaining.

Yes, I have a bootleg from the Johua Tree Era where they sing it. I will have to look for it to confirm but I am pretty sure they sing it at the end of Electric Co.

01. Last Night On Earth
02. Out Of Control
03. MLK
04. New Years Day
05. Zoo Station
06. A Sort Of Home Coming
07. Streets
08. Kite
09. Gone
10. Mercy

Not sure that I've nailed the order, but the general idea is the first 2 songs are the huge blow out party before they leave,
MLK is the rest after the party before they leave.

NYD...well there has to be hit and it's a new day for the band...in space

Kite's chorus makes it fit for me...Gone, cause they're gone...and Mery because they damn well better play it before heading to space....and it starts off in a place that seems similar to gone (lyrically).

Note if I was only picking my favorite songs roughly 1/2 wouldn't be on the list.

1. All I Want Is You
2. Where the Streets Have No Name
3. One
4. The Fly
5. City of Blinding Lights
6. With or Without You / Shine Like Stars (Snippet)
7. A Sort of Homecoming
8. Peace on Earth (Snippet) / Walk On
9. Who's Gonna Ride Your Wild Horses
10. Bad / 40
