While it was dropped for the ten shows of the final leg of Zoo, it was played at the vast majority of the other four legs. If I remember correctly, Zoo featured a total of 157 shows and Ultra Violet featured at 110.

But, as the rule says, it's not coming back. If a song is dropped during its first tour, then it's probably not going to return. Although UV only vanished to make room for Zooropa material (specifically Lemon), so I wouldn't write it off.

(I'm desperately hoping the rule holds true and it never returns, though.)

I picked those more thematicallly...the SBS/HTBA/Bullet series kinda acts as a journey from Ireland to America. The Mofo/SYCMIOYO/IWF encore deals with Bono's parents. I'd be compelled to replace IWF with The First Time..

Thank you!! yeah, I think you might be right on 'Beautiful Day' needing to go near the end...that would be powerful there.

'The Unforgettable Fire' would definitely bring the crowd to their knees....'Ultraviolet' a nice surprise and I hope that happens as I've never seen them play it live before!!

I still think U2 will switch things up on a night to night basis. It won't be Pearl Jam crazy but they'll change 5-6 songs a night while playing a few standards and the new tunes. If they do the Itunes concert thing they'll have to switch it up some what to sell shows to the U2 freaks like us

U2 always tries to out do everyone when it comes to touring and quite a few big bands, Stones, the Boss, etc. have been doing the different setlist thing. How cool would it be to hear Lemon, Mofo, or One Tree Hill some nights.

Granted, most of these songs are pretty standard...but I doubt that we will get a lot of earth shatterers on this tour. Once the tour gets through to the second leg, the setlist will vary quite a bit more so we'll se more than what is above. I think some or all of the following will make an appearance on the tour

Beautiful Day - This may be in the set from day one, but ATYCLB isn't one of my favorite albums, so I didn't include it above...If I did, it would replace Even Better Than the Real Thing...

Peace on Earth - Part or all of this song will appear somewhere...I would put it as a snippet and it would replace the One Step Closer snippet in my setlist above.

Out of Control - Will probably rotate in and out of the setlist pretty frequently

Electrical Storm - One of my favorites, but I wasn't sure where to put this into the set

The Hands That Built America - May show up once or twice as a second stage song with Bono and The Edge

A Man and A Woman - I would love to see this one in the setlist, but am unsure if it will appear a lot because of how demanding it is on Bono's voice.

Original of the Species - My favorite from HTDAAB...they'll do this a few times

If God Will Send His Angels - One of the best songs on Pop...I would love for this to get setlist space over something like Gone or Staring at the Sun.....

There are more, but I don't want to ramble too much longer....I know part of my setlist is dream...but I am sure that a good chunk of it will be a reality.

We will know more come the 1st night but as you can from Elevation, they really didn't mix it up much. I am hoping that they change it up night after night.....but I don't see it happening. If you look back at history they don't normally do it. Notice the first 3 songs - After how many shows, they remained in the same place. I am tired of hearing the boots with UTEOTW........That songs needs a rest, along with IWF, NYD and BTBS....I can live with Streets and Pride, but give the others a rest.
