The GOOD

Vertigo being played twice - the encore version is maaaaad!
Electric Co - 'A'mazing!
Elevation - cool, fun, cheeky re-working with more crowd input
All I Want Is You - great to hear a full version again
Wild Horses - UN BE LIE VABLE (possible tour highlight)
City Of Blinding Lights - totally transformed live!
Love And Peace Or Else - FAN TAST IC (possible tour hightlight II)
Running To Stand Still - (speechless)
Zoo Station - OMG! (possible tour highlight III)
Vertigo encore - (see above)

The BAD(ish)

New Years Day - great song, great crowd reaction, but too familiar
ISHFWILF - great to hear it, but seems to have lost its spirit
Miracle Drug - great intro, but that's it
SYCMIOYO - good sentiment, just dull
Sunday Bloody Sunday - similar opinion to NYD
Bullet The Blue Sky - worst tour version, but love the Floydian guitar and the snippets at the end
Pride - ho hum
WTSHNN - worst tour version (crowd great as always)
One - worst tour version EVER
With Or Without You - sounds a bit tired

The UGLY

The U2 'fans' who get drunk and pelt everyone with stale beer, burgers and cola (f*ckin wankers)


OVERALL TOUR VERDICT : 8/10 - mainly based on the band's performance (rather than the songs) and the brilliant atmosphere at every gig.

But I would still sell my granny for a ticket tomorrow!

Agree about:
Elevation - never listen to the studio version. But live....AMAZING!
Running - Almost on a par with ZOOtv version

Not agree:
That With or Without you is tired. It is not a staple, and therefore it is one of the few that has a "surprise" factor attached to it.

That Zoo station is a rocker. I say: Let's have who's gonna ride as a staple instead.

at the back of the inner circle at Cardiff 3 guys were hugging eachother - one of them swung his arms around and his cup of beer went flying out and hit someone (spilling onto them)

Man it sounds like there are alot of people who like to have more than a few drinks in Europe when seeing U2. I don't understand why people need to get totally bombed while watching U2 or any concert. Have 2-3 beers and enjoy the show.
