My idea of the San Diego(first 2 nights) setlists

There were rumors in 2004(even quotes by the band) that this tour will include variable setlists(I even remember Bono saying something there will be 4 different setlists on this tour). This information comes from the HQ set reports, where we gathered all the album info we could get.
So, my try for the sets(starts very rocking, than the middle is filled with ballads and the end is full of true U2 hymns)

Great, really great setlists, but they will never happen. There is not enough greatest hits which always fill about half of a setlist...

Thats the best setlist I've seen yet!!! Your ok on greatest hits. You have about 7-10 in each setlist. I love encore #1 on the 1st night.

The setlists are perfect for me too, if they would happen- I'd be in heaven. But as I said there is not enough greatest hits for the general public who know the band only from these songs. So U2 NEED to play Beautiful Day, One, With Or Without You and other songs that we heard live already 10000 times.

Also, hasn't the band said that they will only play One Tree Hill in New Zealand...? I think they've only played it maybe 25 times live ever.

These by far are the best setlists I've seen. Great balance of new songs, hits, and lesser-played songs from tours past. Let's hope it's for real....
