The guy we speak of claims to be a member of U2's crew and offered various setlists that he claimed were genuine - initially, he said they were DEFINITELY covering Wham's Wake Me Up Before You Go-Go, then that they were doing it sometimes, and ultimately said he was just joking. His sets often had a choppy, poor order and were initially outlandish before becoming very 'safe'.

I think it's safe to say he was making it all up as I think most of us suspected.
