Any hope of Fire?

I was listening to a few older boots and I think Fire could be pulled off...........very simple lyrics Im preety sure it hasnt been played since War Tour or even before?

In a word: No.

It was last played on 26 February 1983, the first show of the War Tour.

Then again, I never saw the return of The Ocean coming. This would be a very cool song to bring back.

But there have quotes with Bono and Edge saying they don't like Rejoice, Fire, With a Shout, A Celebration, and Two Hearts Beat as One so I wouldn't bet on it.

Although they said the same about In God's Country, and Gloria, so I guess anything is possible.

Mostly the complaints had to do with key, and immaturity/unfinished nature of lyrics in their eyes.

why not, all is possible with the old songs, it seems they're amusing themselves a lot playing them, fire would be cool
