Suppose after the Vertigo Tour is over Amnesty International does another tour like they did in 84 and U2 agrees to be in it along with many other bands. How would you want the U2 set list and the show to go?

U2 would be the last band to play and they would play the longest set. The show starts with a powerful video about the inequality of the world in which we live in today. Many images of Africa. The video lasts about 5 minutes, just as it ends the intro to Love And Peace Or Else starts. The screen still shows some strong images and we hear some lines here and there said by presidents, dictators and humanitarians throughout the years. As the intro is over the band kicks in and the screen starts showing them.

After Miss Sarajevo they play the Human Rights Video that we already know, the organ intro to Where The Streets Have No Name starts as the video is nearing its end and as the video ends Edge stars playing the guitar part of the intro. Bono does his beautiful Africa intro as well.

---- INEQUALITY OF THE WORLD VIDEO ----

01. Love And Peace Or Else
02. Sunday Bloody Sunday
03. Bullet The Blue Sky
04. Miss Sarajevo

---- HUMAN RIGHTS VIDEO ----

05. Where The Streets Have No Name
06. Pride
07. Crumbs From Your Table
08. One
09. Walk On
10. 40

Bono does the whole blindfold thing that he’s been doing this tour during Bullet and Sunday Bloody Sunday. He continues with the equality speech at the end of Pride. At the end when the people are singing the “woh-oh-oh-oh” and Bono is talking, Edge subtly starts playing the intro to Crumbs, they both end together and Larry counts the whole band into the song. Bono also does his speech about the One campaign (and now about The Amnesty International Tour as well) before One. The electric and glorious version of Walk On would have the Hallelujahs at the end. And finally Larry would start the drums to 40 and the show would end with the very appropriate chanting “How long to sing this song. How long...”

They could alternate from night to night and play the acoustic version of Yahweh after One and end the show with Walk On instead of 40 to add some variety to the set list. That would work really well too I think. The whole thing would take an hour or an hour and 10 minutes so they could totally release one of the shows in cd.
