Were 40 and Mothers of the dissapeared ever played at the same show?

No, U2girl, not on the Pop tours and "40" was only played at 4 PopMart concerts.

40 and Mothers Of The Disappeared have been played together on the JT tours though -

1987-04-25: Cow Palace, Daly City - California

1987-04-29: Rosemont Horizon, Chicago - Illinois

1987-05-08: Civic Center, Hartford - Connecticut

1987-12-12: Hampton Coliseum, Hampton - Virginia

1987-12-19: ASU Sun Devil Stadium, Tempe - Arizona

1987-12-20: ASU Sun Devil Stadium, Tempe - Arizona

No, never, though both appeared four times on Popmart. Mothers was played at the shows in Buenos Aires on 1998-02-05/06/07 and Chile on 1998-02-11. 40's appearances were more spread out: 1997-11-26, Atlanta; 1997-12-12, Seattle; 1997-01-31, Sao Paulo; and the final show, 1998-03-21, Johannesburg.
