Was Present-Tense Me banned for something Past-Tense Me might do in the future?

when i log in as IAmBored--clearly the alter that should never have been created-- interference says 'thank you for logging in' but then proceeds to act as if i'm not logged in.

the account should be activated and all, and i get the u2 content and news emails at the address i used, but i've never been able to post.

was it a necessary precaution to keep my bad jokes to a minimum? the mods and all-powerfuls wanted to keep the eyeroll smiley usage down by preventing me from starting up a thread in LS replete with lame-ass jokes about 'no longer living in the past', right?

Are you using AOL browser by chance? I dont see anything strange in your settings or IP addy....

AOL has a cookie conflict with the forum.. I would use IE or Netscape

i figured aol would work ok since it was letting me post before...what do i know?
