Viewing pictures

Why is it I can view some pictures others have posted but most of them, all I can see is a small white box with a red cross in it? Nothing happens when I click on these boxes.

Ah...commonly referred to 'round these parts as "Red X Syndrome". It's when somebody tries to post a picture from a site that doesn't allow direct object linking or if somebody posts a picture and messes up the URL.

Aaah, thanks Bonochick, thought it might just be on my pc, but guess it's like that for everyone then. There does seem to be a lot of them tho!
