this feature seems to no longer work the way it used to, where you'd actually isolate a single post. instead it now just links to the post in the thread in question. i don't know if this causes a problem with people who have different numbers of posts per page, but yeah.

any chance of getting it back to how it used to be?

Ok I see what you mean. It still works though to bring you to a specific post, it shouldnt matter how many posts per page you have it set as long as you link to the specific post. Not sure why the other way isnt working.

Alright I asked about this and its a little confusing but in a nutshell they changed the way posts in threads are linked to be more in line with the way google indexes content. Basically, better for us for google search purposes. The matter is still being discussed internally so it may or may not stay this way.
