Time on posts

Ever since daylight savings kicked in the USA last week the time on posts have been 1 hour ahead of actual time here where I live. ie posts state 7:06 when its really 6:06

One way around it would be to switch my time zone to an area that is one hour different eg Tokyo or Seoul BUT the email alerts are exactly right with time. ie if I alter my time zone then the posts will be correct but the email alerts will be incorrect?

(I live in the the Taipei, KL, Singapore time zone)

Is there anyway I can have both the time on the posts and the time on the email alert correct?

(I hope that made sense, time zones are not my forte)

Ah, worked out what the problem is, just not how to fix it. According to CP

Time offset:
All times are GMT +8 hours. The time now is 07:17 PM. Please select your time zone from the list:

but it doesnt appear to be running on GMT - unless the POMS just started day light savings last week too?

nope poms started daylight saving 2 weeks ago

I haven't had a problem anymore since daylight savings started in the US though

Oh. Your post comes up as 8:43 but its 7:43. Weird.

mmmmm. I will just have to move to Japan, then.

Gave up. I have set the CP to Indonesia and it works now. Weird. But everything works now.
