Anyway, I have a question: why just premium members are allowed to the "search function" through the forums?

Probably because there needs to be some incentive for people to become premium. If all members had access to all features, no one would want to pay.

You're partially correct...

Also, I basically chose the features that were the most intensive on the server as Premium Member features... and Search is actually on the top of the list for that.
