Quoting posts

How can I quote many posts at the same time?

Do you see the three buttons in the lower right-hand corner of each post? (Your own posts will have 4, as you have the option to edit.)

The one in the middle, that shows quotation marks, is what you use for multi-quote.

Click that one in the first post you want to quote, and then click it for the other posts you want to quote. When you get to the last post you want to include, you hit the main Quote button, and all the quotes you copied will show up in the reply box.

You can edit (taking out extra text, if you only want to reply to a piece of someone's longer comment) and add your comments from there.

It's hard to know sometimes what the last post you want to quote is - if you get to the last comment in the thread and realize you're ready to go, just hit the main Quote button with that last post, and you can just delete it if you don't really want to reply to it.
