Hi sweetie, as you know I'm new here too, but not knowing what I'm talking about has never kept my mouth shut before. I think you should prob post this in the Forum Help folder*- or perhaps there's already a few disc there that could help. Also, I notice you don't have Premium Membership (I don't either yet Memo to self: stop procrastinating) so I don't think you can send or receive msgs right now.

I did wonder if it was cos I'm a cheapskate and don't have premium membership. I'm considering it though. It seems such a good site that I might just look into coughing up.

Yes, the Private Message function is only available to premium members. Interference sends out birthday PMs, so non-premium members will be notified that they have a PM but cannot access it.
