Page Drop-Down Box?

What happened to it? I see it has been replaced by "Pages (x): [1] 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 ? ... Last ?." It is much easier to go through multiple forum pages or large threads this way, particularly if you know the page in question you want to go to ahead of time.

Anyhow, here's my petition to restore it.

Elvis says that unfortunately, those drop down menus are javascript, and dont allow a search engine to navigate through pages beyond the initial one.

For the time being, he's using this method (which is the standard for VB). He is recoding a bunch of back-end things in the forum... and it's only temporary.

And its obviously been resolved now with the box that lets you type in whichever page number you want
