New Username Problems!

I just created a new username and even activated it from my email acct. But I'm still unable to post and reply to threads! It prompts me to subscribe. But I thought we didn't have to subscribe to just post or reply. Or do I have to wait a few days before posting??? Please help.

Never mind. My new account just got activated! Should've been a little more patient I guess.
