i think they say xxl on them or somthing, theyre too small to read.what are they?

XML is used mostly for news feeder applets and for mobile devices, if I remember correctly. Basically, it allows programs to be written to use the data in the XML pages in different ways than HTML, which is limited to what we see here.

Or maybe I'm talking out of my ass here. Who knows. All I know is that most of us will have no use for XML (and that is what the icon says, nothing else :P ), but it is useful for other geekier projects.
