max dimnensions for profile & sig pics

Simple but deep question.


What are the maximum demensions for a profile picture, as well as for a picture that one can put in a signature line?


Also, if there
was a limit on how many bytes it can take, that would be nice to know, too.

Optional signature you may use to appear at bottom of your posts. It is advised that you use the Signature-Editor to make changes. Please keep sigs smaller than 120 pixels in height, and smaller than 300 pixels in width.

So I guess that's one answer, but if anyone could be more specific, I would appreciate it

I dont think there is a limit on profile pictures.

Signatures no bigger than 120 x 300 and no larger than around 50kb.

thanks. Now I have to worry about upoading a sig pic.


I used to use Photobucket, but I can't seem to open my albums "no more".

.....stupid restrictions.........
