linked graphics in sigs?

i thought linked graphics in sigs weren't allowed, but i've seeen a couple of them lately...what exactly is the definition of a linked graphic in a sig? isn't it a pic that you click on and it takes you to another site just as a normal text link would do? just wondering...

yes, linked graphics aren't allowed in sigs. feel free to contact one of the mods if there's anyone specific you've noticed with a linked graphic in their sig.
