I've written two mods with no response, which makes me wonder about
Don't hesitate to contact the host/s with questions
I've come across many good posts here that have been closed b'c--the mod says--it's already been talked about elsewhere or before. But many of us--being new here--have never seen these conversations or go to these other places where these conversations have taken place, so we don't get to take part in them. Why doesn't the owner of this board let the members decide when a topic is old? That's what buoyancy is made for. When it's old, it will automatically disappear to the end b'c there won't be enough posts to keep it going. This is the most censored board I've ever been to.

There are new members joining all the time, yet, it's like--Don't talk about that here! It's already been talked about! Is U2.com like this, too? Just curious. Thanks.

Um... I did reply to your email you sent last week I believe it was. I did not receive a return response from you.

And no one is forcing you to stay here.

I'm not attacking you, simply asking a question. I'm not talking about my email to you, but two to others. And I did respond to you.

Sorry, it just seems like all your posts lately are complaining about the rules/mods/site. I think a lot of us have been very helpful towards you.

But again, this type of conversation is best to be discussed with us in private.

You can search the forum, if you are concerned about making a repeat thread, do a search and bump an old topic.

You must not visit a lot of boards then. Most of the stuff that isn't allowed here is trash talking other members and graphic porn. I guess that just doesn't constitute heavy censorship in my book.

Yeah you can even swear here.
Most boards I go to censor ***** swear words.

I notice that the people who do well here (when they are new) are the ones who look through and read several pages of posts in the area of their interest instead of just starting threads at whim. It's akin to paying attention in a conversation so you're not asking the same damned (see I got to curse! :D ) thing over and over again.

All it really takes is a bit of common sense.

*Please note - threads are closed at the descretion of the moderators, for any reason they see fit. Please contact the moderator or administrators via PM or email if you have a problem with thread closure.
This is what I'm talking about--it's at the mods discretion--it's not the rules that these threads are closed and I see no reason for most of them. It just seems to be a way to flex muscles most of the time--or some mods decide before they even know you that they don't like you. And I'm not talking about myself, but others I've seen. I've read a lot before posting. It just seems kind counter-productive if you want people to support your site--to make them feel unwelcome.

And yes, I've been to plenty of message boards and I've never seen one scrutinize, censor and weed out so many posts for no apparent reason like this one does. You feel like you're walking on eggshells every time you make a post.

Sweetie, you're getting your shorts in a bunch over nothing. Just enjoy the damned place or don't. You make the decision.

Maybe you should check out RadRacer's "new" home..... :)

throwing tomatoes at mods isn't a good way to get on anyone's good side. you may have read a lot before posting but you've also started a LOT of threads. most people here don't start that many threads, and some just start a few. in two weeks' time you've started 37 threads. that's almost three a day. several of those were threads that wouldn't have needed to be created had you read the faq or done a search beforehand.

we aren't trying to make anyone feel unwelcome, we're just asking people to read the rules and exercise common sense before posting. maybe you ought to read what i said in the last thread you started: http://forum.interference.com/showthread.php?s=&postid=2449042#post2449042

The moderators here are trained and have been here for a long time, and/or know this place inside out. Some have previous moderator experience as well. They devote their own free time to work on this site for free. They have every right to close a thread if they feel it needs to be closed. VERY rarely are threads closed just for no reason or 'at the mods discretion'. I dont think our rules are that difficult to follow. There is a lot of leniency here. And I dont feel like we've made you feel unwelcome.

I think you are blowing this whole thing way out of proportion. Some of your threads seem like you are trying to mock the mods to be honest.

i personally just want to say i think neutral and sicy and all the other people who keep interfence going do a great job and we do not give them enough credit............so.............great job guys

I haven't been here for very long, but i've never felt out of place or unwelcome for any reason.
The mods seem pretty reasonable and respectful to people's opinions -- and nice too!

They aren't out to get you or anyone else -- They are volunteering their time to make this site as safe and friendly as it can be.
I know I wouldn't swap a few closed threads for a site full of slash and porn or whatever other stuff the sick people in this world want to throw at us.

If that's what you want to see, there are plenty of other places to go.....

Perhaps you feel like you're on eggshells because what you have to say isn't all that nice. But what do I know.

Sometimes I don't get why some threads get closed...but hey that's life.

Wait, why am I trying to argue this point anyway

just keep digging.

I am pretty new and I don't know all the ins and outs yet, but everyone has been super nice to me and answered any questions I've been brave enough to ask! What did I do before I found the blue crack?
