Okay, I am sure I am late on this (and might get yelled at, but):

Where is the irc chat, does anyone use it, and if so: config?

open up mIRC & type /server chat.interference.com
then type /join #u2

I think that should work

Alternatively, there is a link at the top of the page which will take to you to another page where you can get into the chat room
