when it is reached, depends on the post whoring all of us do
i estimate it will only be a couple of days until it is reached, on a posts per day rough estimate.

as for whether there will be a party and much fuss also depends on whether the person who posts the 1,000,000th post notices in time and thusly makes a big song and dance over it

i suspect a lot of people are watching this number though.

i didn't start a "counting thread"... i made a betting poll.

that's different, cuz i'm just betting on the day, rather than posting number counts.

the reality is though... we're WAY beyond that number of total posts to interference. tends of thousands of posts a couple years back were permanently archived offline and arent included in the current count.

but... 1,000,000 posts currently online is quite a milestone

We're also 99 members away from 18,000 !!!

I actually figured it wouldn't be more than a week, if not even because of the difference numberwise I notice -esp when i don't get on site every day.
