Featured photo's problem

Hey guys

I think it's really cool we have this function now, but whenever I try to rate a photo it gives me an error, saying I don't have the authority to edit the picture. While I'm trying to rate it. What can the problem be?
Oh and I'm using the Quick rate below the pics, going from poor to Excellent.

There may still be some glitches with the gallery, I did let them know.
