EXTREMELY confusing.

The yellow/red envelopes. I know yellow means new post for less than 20 replies and red means new posts for more than 20 replies but can't they be the same? Because I'll go into a thread sometimes (a red one) and it will be the same as it was last time I checked. Also, when I post in a thread, sometimes it will come up grey which means no new posts. What the heck.

I still haven't figured out what the different symbols mean. I just kinda muddle through.

there's a legend at the bottom of each forum that tells you what the different envelopes mean iirc. the only thing it doesn't show is the black dot or seal on the envelope. that means it's a thread in which you posted.
