blocking PMs to non-premiums

I have often received PMs from Elvis (birthday greetings) and other such famous interferencers (I will not name them for their own good ) to my non-premium account.

It doesn't make a whole lot of sense that you can send non-premium members PMs when they cannot access them!

Can we block premiums from sending PMs to non-premiums on this site?

In your settings you can set it to not receive pm's.

I will do that!

But, will it notify the offender that I cannot accept messages? Why isn't this an automatic setting if you are not a premium?

it does notify them. i believe the message is something like "sorry! this user has chosen not to receive private messages" or something like that.

Or, we could let the non-premiums have the PMs like I suggested in the other thread.

Oh, how simple life could be...

As long as each one gets a separate entry in IB, I'm all for that.

It would read - Banned, Cheapskate, no money, habitual moocher, takes advantage of fellow, premium-paying members.
