On Photoshop, if you use the Save to Web feature in the 'File' toolbar, it makes it a whole lot easier.

You can adjust the quality without making it look too horrible.

I've convinced Elvis ( ) to raise the Avatar sizes seeing as we just got a new server and all.

Previous size allowed = 72x72 pixels, 7kb in size.

New size allowed = 100x100 pixels, 12kb in size.


I wanted a slightly higher kb size, but we agreed to 12kb as large file sizes weigh the page loading times down.

OMG OMG OMG... THANK YOU THANK YOU SICY!!! YOU ARE AWESOME!!

Thanks, I tried that, but in the end I just used a different file type and it worked well enough.

These bigger avatars are much better. Can some lovely soul increase the size of mine please, I'm completely computer illerate when it comes to these things, it took me forever to get it small enough to fit. If its bigger people will actually be able to tell what it is
