Yeah, I'd heard that, too, about the historical inaccuracy . But eh, well, if the show's good enough it's worth overlooking that. If I want accurate history lessons I'd get a history book or take a class, right?

Okay, thought so, thanks. Well, at least it'll be nice to see it straight through and not have to worry about cliffhangers or waiting for new seasons.

I get it, it's supposed to be an escape. But after they've had sex for about the 10th time in 50 pages and they're saying certain words and doing certain things, it lost any kind of possible hotness. I guess it's a spank bank of sorts, I don't know

I do get the appeal of "romance" sort of books, I've read a few when I'm going through lots of stress. For me it's just an escape, like reading a rag magazine. Cause I don't believe in that fake "romance" stuff.
Agreed. I do love a good sexy romance story. I don't even expect them to be fancy in their writing. It's great if I can find a well-written romance, sure, but it's kinda like action movies-if one has a great script and plot, wonderful, bonus, but ultimately, they're popcorn fare, they're light fun, they're not meant to be serious, so I don't expect them to be.

But yeah, that sort of thing just seems so unrealistic and hokey and, like you said, it kinda loses its appeal if that's ALL they do in the book. You need the sexual tension, you need something around the couple to make me think, "Yeah, I can see these two together" or "Oh, just jump each other's bones already, sheesh!" or whatever . And I'm certainly not at all opposed to some dirty sex scenes and stuff, done right those can be hot. But there's dirty and then there's just "sleazy shock value" or "too much" or whatever, I don't really know how to explain it. I guess I still like to imagine some intimacy and romance mixed in with the raunchy stuff, y'know?

LOL, no problem . I wasn't sure if it was my computer or what, it was acting kinda wonky last night at times. But you made up for it later-that is a nice picture. He's got pretty eyes. And I love his hair .

Also liked Jason Momoa as Ronan in the TV show, "Stargate Atlantis."
