But Wayne IS a guy who DOES appreciate a good smelling cologne.... that I know... :hmm: so he didn't notice huh? I guess he was too nervous :giggle:
 
Bono is coming to the USA this week for a whole week of private and public appearances, L03Vlk.

I have no idea about the rest of the band.


Check PLEBA for further info on Bono's public appearances this week at the Liberty Medal Awards this Thursday and then some weekend activities in NYC.

Things to do list when Wayne returns home:

1. HUG WAYNE- LOTS cuz that is like hugging Wayne and Bono now!!!!!!!!
2. Drag Wayne to men's cologne counter-try Bvlgari and every other cologne until he says..."that's the one"
3. HUG WAYNE AGAIN!

CONGRATULATIONS!!! I am so happy for you and him!!

Were there alot of people waiting there, Babydoll? How did he manage to get Bono's and Adam's attention?

Aint that a Fact! I can still remember it from Abbey Road, you could smell him coming over to us to say hi, on the way to the Armani awards. He smelt :drool: :evil:

Yeah it is, as Bono said he was flying to the US in the next few days. He got this straight from the man himself! :D

I take it Bono will be going back to Dublin after the weekend in Philly and NYC right? So do you think that they will be back in the studio then or does that mean they won't be back for a while?

Lol.. Wayne lives in the UK and I live in the US... so I'm guessing not anytime soon! :D

Tuesday evening his time, so it'd be like early afternoon here in the US.

That's true that he appreciates good cologne... but he couldn't describe it as explicitly as I'd have liked! :D I'm gonna pick his brains for the exact cologne description when he calls me again. :)
 
This is very exciting. I just love to see pics of u2 and their fans outside the studio. And their stories are always great. Wayne seeing Bono is perfect!

Errrm, no they didn't lie. As far as I know it was Daniel Lanois who said that he'll meet up with them in the studio again in Novemer. That doesn't mean that they have to wait and keep away from the studio until then. I guess Bono will be busy making rounds in the USA for the next month or so, I don't think he'll be in Dublin much with a schedule like that, so it makes sense that they are going back to some serious work in November when that will be over.
