I just wanted to say that everybody I met was really, really cool. I had a chance to chat with daafish and BAW'sH (Jim and Rick) for a while and I gotta say -- two very cool guys. daafish and I talked about dancing and he gave me some good advice. He is a genuinly warm person. Rick was yelling out "pub crawler!" before I even met him...LOL. A damn pleasure meeting you, Rick. Iris was a blast to hang out with! (She had to put up with a :drunk: me. :p). It was great to see Martha again, feels like we're old friends. :) I'm not going to name everyone here so please forgive me (or not :p ), but seriously, everyone was really nice.

Guaca, I didn't know who the hell you were when you first posted in this thread. 'Twas nice to meet you. Mrs. Edge, it was great meeting you, and your husband does in fact look so much like Edge! We were kidding him that he wasn't allowed to take his hat off.

Jesse, I'm glad you found a ride! (Remember you called me Sunday, not Saturday -- I was gone.)

I also met Icelle, eebz, Mary(?), bonosgirl84 and of course ABEL. :)

Jaysus, I just did mention everybody, I think.

I met you briefly Kevin but I was a little...um, intoxicated so I don't remember much about Saturday night. I wish you could have stayed longer and hung out with us some more  :drunk:

 Loving these pics and stories!! But I have a question. Jess- did you not dance? :( There are no pictures of you belly-dancing.

BAW- great pics:up:
whacka-

Well Guaca and I actually met a real celebrity up at the Marriott when we went to go get something to eat at the buffet on Saturday night before the show. We were wearing our huge green St. Patrick's Day hats we had gotten at the pub. Our waiter couldn't stop laughing at our hats each time he came over. Guaca and I were laughing histerically. This older gentleman comes over and says "nice hats". He stands there at our table and chats with us for a while. He tells us that he is in Vegas because his daughter is getting married. He says he is a costume designer and so is his daughter. She is marrying a German guy she met, but he doesn't approve of the marriage, but as long as she's happy he's happy. He said his daughter's name was Karyn Wagner. We ask him if he's worked on any movies that we would have heard of. He said that he'd worked on a movie that probably everyone has heard of..."Oh God!". He said his daughter is a much better costume designer though.

Guaca and I said we're both going to rent the movie "Oh God" and freeze the credits and try to find his name.

The name Karyn Wagner sounded sort of familiar to me, so I did a search tonight and this is what I found on her:

KARYN WAGNER (Costume Designer) is a third-generation industry veteran. Wagner?s grandfather, George Barnes, won an Oscar for his black-and-white cinematography on Alfred Hitchcock?s ?Rebecca.? Her grandmother was part of Erich Von Stroheim?s stock company and her father worked as a motion picture sound mixer.

The Hollywood native had no plans to enter the industry when she enrolled in the University of California-Davis to study art history. Before long, she won a production coordinator job on a feature, then focused her career as a camera technician before becoming a costumer.

This film marks Wagner?s 4th collaboration with Darabont having designed the wardrobe for ?The Majestic,? ?The Green Mile? and ?Black Cat Run? and her 2nd collaboration with D. J. Caruso for ?Black Cat Run.? Other feature credits include Steven Soderbergh?s ?The Underneath,? Robert Kurtzman?s ?Wishmaster? and John Woo?s ?Hard Target.? On that film, she worked with actress Kasi Lemmons, who chose Wagner to create the period wardrobe for her acclaimed 1997 directorial debut, ?Eve?s Bayou.? Wagner recently designed ?Cora Unashamed? for ALT Films Masterpiece Theater (American Literature on television).

Wagner also designed costumes for the TV pilots ?Bump in the Night? and ?Beastmaster III.? She served as a wardrobe supervisor on such projects as ?The Rapture,? ?Dragon: The Bruce Lee Story? and Sam Raimi?s ?Army of Darkness.?

we didn't even take his pic and we had our cameras with us
