U2 fans in Windsor/Detroit and Halifax 1 & 2 July

Just a quick note to let anyone know who might be in the Windsor ON/Detroit MI area this Friday that Elevation Canada is playing on 1 July at Dieppe Park in Windsor from around 7 as part of the Canada Day/Freedom Festival celebration. We're in Halifax NS the following day at the Summerfest event, starting at about 9.45. We're aiming to play at least two hours of U2 classics each night. I hope some of you can make it out; be sure to say hi if you do. Thanks for reading and have a great weekend!

Halifax was cancelled.

Yes, sorry, I understand that practically all flights were cancelled on Friday and Saturday thanks to fog. Apparently the radar system in Halifax isn't working so if the pilots can't see the runway they can't land. Hence our non-appearance. We're totally bummed about it. We're back in September though, at the Pogue Fado, for two nights; with any luck the airport will be back to normal by then...
